Randy Orton and Matt Riddle are the new tag team to watch out for

Just three weeks ago Matt Riddle found himself inside the ring against Orton in a singles match on WWE RAW. Little did he know then that he would form a tag team with the Apex Predator in the immediate aftermath.

And hence, RK-Bro was born. The team has already beaten Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander, Elias and Jaxson Ryker since its inception.

More recently, Randy Orton caught up with Kurt Angle on the Kurt Angle show, where he discussed a myriad of topics.

And one among those topics was an incident which made him loathe Riddle for a while.

Orton goes on to say that he had walked past the NXT locker room, back when Riddle was a newcomer. And on seeing Riddle, Orton had anticipated an ice-breaker session, expecting Riddle to introduce himself

But, all Riddle did was just look over Orton and just walk past him. Orton says he was left fuming after that and had a hatred for the former MMA artist for a while.

Orton was quoted as saying:

“So, you’ve got all these NXT guys with all their shit taking up all the space in the locker room. So, me being a vet and seeing this, it doesn’t help when I walk by Matt Riddle and my olive branch was basically me looking at Matt and said, ‘There he is, there he is.’ Just kind of an icebreaker expecting a, ‘Hey Randy, my name is Matt. Nice to meet you.’ Instead, Matt just kind of barely – with the blood-shot eyes – glanced over at me and he just kept walking. I remember thinking, ‘That mother…..’ So, for quite a while, I didn’t like Riddle. It was because of that little scenario. I took it as a lack of respect.” [H/T Rajah.com]

WWE has huge plans for RK-Bro

When RK-Bro was formed, fans and other people from the WWE world thought that the tag team would last only for a while, and would fizzle out eventually.

However, it has been learnt that the WWE has big things coming for the tag team, as they are set to receive a ‘sizeable push’.

They are expected to take on the tag team champions AJ Styles and Omos, soon.

The WWE has also planned on releasing RK-Bro merchandises soon.
