Randy Orton has been off-screen from WWE for a long time now. It is being reported that Randy Orton is recovering from a back injury.
The 14-time World Champion was last spotted in WWE back in May, where he was involved in a match with Riddle. And it has been a while since he was seen. But recently, a Randy Orton fan account on Twitter shared a picture of Orton, where he could be seen with a completely revamped look.
The picture states, how the Viper was spotted at a pool in St. Charles, Missouri. They used the pun “musta shaved” to describe Randy Orton’s clean shaved look. Before his injury, Randy Orton used to sport a goatee and a stubble, but post the surgery he has completely shaved off any facial hair.
The Viper was recently involved in a tag-team with Riddle, called RK-Bro. He won two tag team championships while being on this team. They lost their title to The Usos on the May 20th episode of Smackdown. After the match, it was announced that Orton was suffering from injuries related to his back and spine.
Randy Orton might return to WWE in 2023
The injury Randy Orton suffered and his departure left a hole in the company for sure. The veteran is a wrestling legend as well as great on the mic. It was rumored that Roman Reigns was supposed to face Randy Orton at Summerslam 2022. Unfortunately, things took a turn and now Brock Lesnar is again back in the mix.
Dave Meltzer reported that Randy is scheduled to return in 2023 and might get involved in a long-awaited feud with Riddle. Royal Rumble also being just around the corner, it would not be surprising to Orton return there as a surprise entrant.
We from Media Referee wish Randy Orton a speedy and healthy recovery from his injury.
