Here is everything you need to know, including WWE Raw Results, Winners, and Highlights from March 7.

WWE’s biggest event of the year – WrestleMania 38 is less than a month away. Titles changed hands and a new tag team was formed. Two superstars from NXT got the better of two veterans of the main roster. A lot of interesting things took place this week on RAW and we will discuss them all.

The show opened with a recap of what transpired after the main event of the Madison Square Garden House show. Brock Lesnar was celebrating after successfully defending his WWE Championship against Austin Theory when Roman Reigns and The Usos took him out.

Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins versus RK-Bro versus Alpha Academy (c) – Triple-threat tag team match for WWE RAW Tag Team Championship

Owens and Rollins made their entrance first. They would speak about how difficult their journey to ‘Mania has been and then brag about how they defeated the top tag teams in the roster in the last couple of weeks.

Owens didn’t forget to downplay Texas as well.

Out came the Alpha Academy as a confident Gable mentioned how they would carry the titles to ‘Mania.

Orton would give Riddle a pep talk backstage.

Riddle and Rollins got us started. Rollins used a springboard crossbody to take out Riddle and Gable. Ko delivered several cannonballs. It was all about Owens and Rollins in the initial stages. Gradually as the match progressed, Alpha Academy took control of proceedings. Both teams did very well to keep Orton out of the match for a long time until Riddle finally, managed to tag The Viper in.

Orton changed the pace of the match as he started with double DDT from the ropes to Chad Gable and Rollins. He would later deliver angle slams on the announce table to Owens and Gable. Orton would try the same on Otis but Otis proved too powerful for Orton. Riddle would then come for support as they slammed Otis on the announce table.

Towards the later stages of the match, Orton would pull off one of the most stunning RKOs he has delivered to date on Gable. Owens though would take Orton out of the match and Rollins would use their finishing moves on Gable. As Rollins delivered the Curb Stomp, Riddle returned to the ring and threw Rollins out, and pinned Gable to steal the victory.

Kevin Owens looked distraught sitting against the steel stairs outside the ring. Seth Rollins wore a look of dejection as he slowly walked away from the stage. RK-Bro captured the Tag titles.

Winner: RK-Bro

Dana Brooke (c) versus Tamina – WWE 24/7 Championship

As is the case with these matches the anytime anywhere 24/7 rule is paused. Brooke kissed Reggie backstage as a token of good luck while Tamina did the same with Akira Tozawa (but this was much harder).

Coming back to the match, Tamina used her power game and punched Dana Brooke profusely until Dana would use her speed to escape her. Tamina would lock her in a Boston Crab but Reggie willed Brooke on as she countered it into a roll-over pinning combination to score the victory.

Winner: Dana Brooke

The Miz hosts MizTV in front of his home crowd

Miz had Logan Paul for company this week. The Miz started saying, “Cleveland, I am home.”

Fans cheered for their own boy and The Miz appreciated. Logan Paul entered the ring. He is also from Cleveland. He would talk about the achievements of his amateur career.

The Miz would continue saying how he is self-made and not like Dominik whose father Rey Mysterio got him to WWE.

He would call his special guest for the show – Hall of Famer Jerry Lawler to the ring. Jerry would talk about his connection to Cleveland. Jerry talked about having WrestleMania in Cleveland but The Miz stopped him and said Cleveland isn’t a WrestleMania city. The crowd started booing him and he would go on to mention that winners had left Cleaveland to become successful.

Tommaso Ciampa and Bron Breakker versus Dirty Dawgz (Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode)

This match showed all four superior wrestlers in great light. Bron Breakker’s debut match on RAW lived up to its potential.

The NXT Champion showed a great glimpse of his power as he threw Ziggler and Roode all across the ring and he was the one who scored the pinfall. He delivered a press powerslam to seal the victory for his team. Ciampa also had his moments.

Omos versus Apollo Crews

Omos made quick work of the former Intercontinental and United States Champion. The big man’s focus was more on another big man at ringside – Azeez.

Crews tried to take advantage but couldn’t muster up too many offensive moves barring a few kicks both standing and dropkicks. Crews tried to fly from the top ropes but Omos caught him to execute the vicious-looking double-handed choke bomb for the win.

After the match, Azeez and Omos had a staredown.

Winner: Omos

Edge cuts a promo in blue light

The dangerous side of Edge was unlocked last week as he brutally assaulted AJ Styles. Edge would mention how he is in love with this side of his.

As always this was another thrilling promo cut by Edge. He made sure he did not bore the audience and instead talked about his new self. An identity he now adores. He said whatever he did to AJ last week was for his betterment.

Carmella and Queen Zelina versus Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripey

The newly formed team of Liv and Rhea had the opportunity to become a part of the tag team match scheduled at WrestleMania 38 for the women’s tag titles. All they had to do was beat the champions Carmella and Zelina in this match. We got to know a couple of weeks ago that Sasha Banks and Naomi would take on the current tag champs at ‘Mania for the titles.

Liv and Carmella started the match. Morgan and Ripley took control of the initial proceedings. Carmella tagged in Zelina. Zelina and Carmella wore down Ripley for a little while. Ripley would manage to make the tag to Morgan as she uses her speed and tenacity to good effect.

In the closing stages of the match, Carmella looked to have been distracted. She had her mask off and was busy talking to Corey Graves. Morgan hit Zelina with a double knee facebuster and tagged Ripley who scored the pinfall after delivering Riptide.

Now we will have a triple-threat tag team match at WrestleMania 38 for the Women’s Tag Team Champion.

Winners: Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley

Austin Theory versus Finn Balor

The newly crowned United States Champion Finn Balor took on Austin Theory in a non-title match. Two brilliant superstars fought this match at a good pace. Finn used all his experience over the upstart Theory.

He was looking to finish the match with a Coup de Grace after hitting the running knee but was caught on the top rope by Damien Priest. Priest threw Balor off the top rope and delivered a huge slam like last week on the Intercontinental Champion.

Theory took a selfie with a lying Balor to end the segment.

Kevin Owens drops a bombshell

KO came to the ring stating that he will host the KO Show at WrestleMania 38. He would drop the names of a few legends who he thought could be his guests like JBL, Booker T, and Shawn Michaels but degraded all of them in the process.

He finally called out Texas’ very own Stone Cold Steve Austin. Owens would say that Austin is past his prime. He reminded everyone that Austin needed a knee brace to complete his matches. Now his knees are shot. He joked about Austin drinking beer all day. He said he might hit the stunner on the legend and it would be talked about around the world.

Vader to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame

Also, there was a highlight reel of Late Great Vader who will be inducted into the Hall of Fame Class of 2022 as announced recently.
