WWE release segments, including Edge and Becky Lynch, not liked by many
This week’s Monday Night Raw episode saw two very uncomfortable segments where Liv Morgan blamed WWE RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch for the releases of Ruby Soho and Sarah Logan. In addition, she accused Lynch that her big contract was why they were fired from the company.
On the other hand, WWE Superstar Edge said that The Miz left John Morrison to get fired, even being the best friend to get fired, and he chased celebrities on Dancing with Stars.
Fans were furious about the segment as they didn’t like the comment and found it disrespectful. But, unfortunately, promos between reality and friction that blur the lines are not new to the wrestling world. And it seems as fans and wrestling are steeling reeling from the most recent round of WWE releases.
Former WWE wrestlers claim these segments as ‘bad taste.’
Sean Ross Sapp of fightful.com also revealed that he has been in contact with several former WWE stars, and all of them didn’t find it good enough. They even claimed it as a ‘bad taste.’
“It happened several times during this show, and I had former WWE wrestlers, former WWE producers, and a current WWE wrestler, that were all telling me how bad a taste they thought that was.”
The current segment between CM Punk and MJF on the recent AEW Dynamite also had similar humour but was well received. WWE tried to do the same style to get the segments with Liv and Edge.
