SmackDown Superstar Reginald impresses WWE Chairman Vince McMahon
Reginald signed with WWE in early 2020, after earlier performing at Cirque du Soleil. His debut began with Carmella acting as her sommelier, before making his in-ring debut against Sasha Banks.
According to sources, Reginald has impressed the Chairman Vince McMahon who is a fan of the ‘characters presentation and skill-set inside the ring.’

Reginald has mostly been an on-screen presence, but has only participated in intergender matches. Despite his booking, Reginald continues to woo the WWE Universe, including the latest segment with Alexa Bliss.
Bliss faced Nia Jax on WWE Raw thanks to some shenanigans from Lilly. The Goddessthen performed the Twisted Bliss, after which Reginald interfered to end the match via disqualification. Bliss, then performed a hypnosis on Reginald before leaving the ring.
Reginald is professionally a circus performer and has a big bag of tricks up his sleeve. His athleticism has been showcased previously on WWE. He wrestled as Akeem Young on NXT, before his move up to the main roster.
He is now an accomplice alongside former WWE Raw Women’s Tag Team Champions Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler. Despite his lack of in-ring action, there is a high chance that Reginald is moved to singles competition on the WWE Raw or SmackDown roster.
Reginald caught the eye back at the end of 2019, during a public event involving performers and wrestlers. His performances on WWE NXT indicate that he is capable of performing well on either brand.
With Vince McMahon letting go of star names since the COVID-19 pandemic, it is a good sign that he is optimistic of Reginald’s long-term success. McMahon will be hoping that he gets what he demands – ‘a personality.’
