Derrick Lewis produced a great performance in the second round against Aleksei Oleinik
Renee Young was, once again, watching the latest UFC event and was impressed by the power of Derrick Lewis.
The UFC Heavyweight star was up against veteran Aleksei Oleinik and destroyed the Russian in the second round.
While Oleinik seemed to have Lewis in trouble in the first and tried to submit him, the American battled through and knocked out his rival in the second.
Young was extremely impressed by the performance of Lewis and used a GIF to describe her reaction:
This isn’t the first time Young has posted about the UFC as she has commented on previous fights too.
The WWE presenter has had her own battles in recent weeks too. She had tested positive for Covid-19 a while back but went into quarantine and has spent time at home.
Speaking of the fight, the 35-year-old Lewis moved to 24 wins in his MMA career. The Black Beast, as he is called, has seven losses and one no contest in his MMA career, but this was one of his best performances.
Lewis also created a record with the knockout win as he now has the most knockouts in UFC Heavyweight history.
The 35-year-old is also on a three-fight win streak now, and it will be interesting to see what is next for him.
However, Lewis provided another major talking point from the clash during the post-fight interviews.
Paul Felder asked him a question but Lewis didn’t seem to know he was live. He told one of his coaches that he needed to go to the toilet in graphic detail and that got a lot of people laughing.
Lewis is known for speaking his mind out, and this was another example of that taking place.
