According to talkSPORT’s Alex McCarthy on Wrestling Daily (h/t Fightful), the real reason behind Charlotte Flair getting suspended by WWE has been revealed.

Charlotte Flair was suspended after attacking a referee on Raw

Charlotte had attacked both Asuka and Ripley during their title match last week, setting up a singles bout with The Empress of Tomorrow for this past Monday. And having failed to come out on top, The Queen snapped and started attacking the referee.

Despite attempts from other WWE officials to try and stop her, Charlotte continued to attack the referee. In the aftermath of the attack, authority figure Adam Pearce revealed on Raw Talk that she had been hit with a fine of $100,000 and suspended indefinitely.

Now, the actual reason for Charlotte getting suspended by WWE and being written off screen has come to light. It is claimed that The Queen is out of action as she is due to undergo some dental procedures. However, she is not expected to be out sidelined for long.

Charlotte responded to the suspension with an in-character tweet lashing out Rhea Ripley as well as Adam Pearce.

She also shared pictures of her being on a holiday with partner and former WWE Superstar Andrade now that she has got some time off.

It is not clear as to when Charlotte will return to the screen. It remains to be seen if she makes it back before the next PPV Event, WrestleMania Backlash that goes down in mid-May.
