WWE Superstar Rey Mysterio on his Daughter Aalyah restarting her wrestling career
Rey Mysterio has been a household name in WWE ever since his debut. He has been pro-wrestling his entire life with an experience of more than 30 years. Mysterio has been a legend of WWE, having won championship titles even in the latter stages of his career.
At WrestleMania Backlash Rey with his son Dominik became the first-ever father-son tag team champions for SmackDown. He recently spoke to TVInsider.com and talked about winning titles with his son and his daughter restarting her wrestling career.
Mysterio also mentioned how close he was to retiring from WWE even before his son stepped into the ring.
In the interview with Mysterio, he was asked about his Daughter Aalyah who is gaining a lot of attention as an on-screen character. Rey mentioned that his Daughter wants to step inside the ring and has asked him about it. Mysterio wants his Daughter to join the medical field and try wrestling as a second option.
He pointed that Aalyah is very dedicated to her school and education, and he is proud of her.
“Dad, what would you say if I wanted to step in the ring?” I said, “As long as you don’t leave your career behind.” She wants to join the medical field. As long as she does that and tries wrestling as a second option, I don’t mind. She always had the curiosity to take a bump, hit the ropes. I said, whenever you want to try it, let me know. I think it’s in the back of her mind. She is very dedicated to her school and education. I’m proud of that right now.”
