November 13, 2021 was the 16th death anniversary of legendary wrestler Eddie Guerrero
It has been 16 years since Eddie Guerrero passed away. On the 13th of November, 2005, the legendary wrestler was found unconscious in his hotel room.
It was later announced that he had passed away due to acute heart failure from atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease. He was just 38.
Considered to be one of the greatest in-ring performers of all time, Guerrero was loved by everyone.
The promotion paid heartfelt tributes to the Mexican-American that week on Raw and SmackDown (November 14 and November 18 respectively. A million tears were shed.
16 years on, his legacy still lives on.
Recently, his dear friend Rey Mysterio took to social media to share a photo of Guerrero and his then in-ring partner, the late Art Barr.
Mysterio wrote:

It is worth noting that Mysterio was shattered when Guerrero passed away and it took him a long time to recover from the same.
Eddie Guerrero and Art Barr’s “La Pareja del Terror”
Eddie Guerrero and Art Barr formed one of the most formidable pairings in AAA history.
Having debuted as a villain, Barr teamed up with Guerrero to from “La Pareja del Terror” (The Pair of Terror).
During the early 90s, “La Pareja del Terror” went on to become the tag-team champions in AAA.
To date, they are considered to be one of the most hated tag-teams in AAA history.
