Rhea Ripley and her Nightmare character is taking WWE by a storm
It has been just a shade over a month since Rhea Ripley got called up to the main roster. Ripley debuted on the RAW brand on 22nd February.
And since then, she has challenged Asuka for the WWE RAW women’s championship at WrestleMania 37.
Her in-ring skills are extra-ordinary. But it is her gothic make-up and badass persona that really sets her apart from the rest.
That is what led the Australian wrestler to really make a corner for herself on NXT and NXT UK, winning the championship on both of those brands.
The 24-year-old youngster now has a very early chance to make a name for herself on the main roster as she gears up for a WrestleMania date with the current RAW women’s champion.
And before that career-defining moment, she was with Renee Paquette on her Oral Sessions podcast (h/t wrestlinginc.com)
During the interview, she addressed which two superstars inspired her to become the menacing character that she is on the show today.
“So, Beth [Phoenix] was definitely, like, a big one. I love Kaitlyn as well, just ’cause she was so different,” Ripley replied on which WWE Superstars she looked up growing up. “After meeting her in the Mae Young [Classic], she was super cool. She is such a great human.”
‘Beth The Glamazon’ is a WWE Hall of Famer and is undoubtedly an inspiration for many other young pro wrestlers. male or female.
And just like her, Kaitlyn is also a former WWE Divas champion who came to be a major part of the divas division during the early 2010s.
Ripley would undoubtedly want to follow in the footsteps of those two great personalities, who would be watching the Australian this weekend on the grandest stage of them all.
