Rhea Ripley seeking vengeance after Charlotte Flair attack on RAW
WWE RAW Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley was left frustrated after a vicious attack at the hands of bitter rival, Charlotte Flair.
Ripley was facing Natalya in singles action as she prevailed victorious before Flair entered the fray launching a brutal assault.
The champion took to Twitter to vent out her anger at Flair ahead of their match at WWE Money in the Bank this Sunday.
She said: “You wanted a war You got one MF…”
Flair and Ripley have been going at it for months now after Flair returned to WWE. She has been without a title in two years and got a chance to reclaim it at WWE Hell in a Cell. Unfortunately, Ripley managed a win to keep hold of the championship, via disqualification.
Ripley has been the champion since her WrestleMania 37 win against Asuka. Rhea Ripley and Charlotte Flair have a long history dating back to the feud over the WWE NXT Women’s Championship in 2020.
The intensity of the battle keeps on increasing with time culminating in a highly anticipated match this Sunday.
What can happen at Money in the Bank?
Ripley is the underdog based on past achievements, as Flair has won everything on offer in the WWE. The 12-time Champion got the win at Hell in a Cell, but did not reclaim the title due to DQ rules.
Since her arrival, Flair has been on a mission to win her first title in two years. She has been unfortunate, but could make the most of this opportunity. Ripley, meanwhile, has been a determined champion fighting tooth and nail for the gold.
The two are the leading women on RAW and Money in the Bank could finally settle the score for their bitter rivalry.
