Charlotte Flair gets suspension and a fine for her antics on WWE RAW
It seems that ‘heel’ Charlotte Flair is back and here to stay. And that is a persona suited to her the most, considering how her feud with Lacey Evans was highly underwhelming.
Her grandiose persona could not escape her even when she should have let go of it to get the fans’ sympathy. But that feud is long over now and ‘The Queen’ is a changed character.
And that has been clearly evident in the last 2 episodes of WWE RAW. Last week, Flair interfered with a title rematch between Asuka and Rhea Ripley to render that match a no-contest.
This week was a whole different story. Charlotte let out all her anger and frustration on the referee after she lost to Asuka on the latest episode of RAW.
That, of course, led WWE to fine and suspend her. Adam Pearce announced the suspension on the 19th April edition of RAW talk and revealed that there is also a $100,000 fine.
Rhea Ripley reacts as Charlotte Flair gets WWE suspension
The extent of Flair’s suspension for physically abusing a WWE official is unclear at the moment, but it seems that she would at least miss a couple of RAW episodes for it.
And to react to this news was the current WWE RAW women’s champion, Ripley. The Australian pro wrestler took to her Twitter to react with a one-word message.
And that word was ‘sucker’, as she replied to the news of Flair getting a fine and suspension. It seems like the two will be in a title feud very soon.
Fans accused Flair of stealing opportunities from other WWE superstars but that was not really the reason behind WWE not featuring her at WrestleMania 37.
But she says that she is now back. And it looks like she is back for the title considering WWE has never kept her too far away from the title picture.
