Rhea Ripley explains why she demolished Asuka in WWE Raw tag match

Asuka and Rhea Ripley were teamed up to face the WWE Women’s tag champions on Raw

Rhea Ripley and Asuka meet for the WWE Raw Women’s title at WrestleMania 37, but there were some other plans on Raw.

The two rivals were paired up less than a week before they meet at WrestleMania in a tag match. Asuka and Ripley, who had a lot of problems already, took on the Women’s tag champions.

As expected, this match didn’t go the way of the newly formed team. Asuka was kicked in the face by Shayna Baszler, who got the win for the champs, but all this was possible thanks to Ripley.

The Australian first pushed Asuka off the top rope and then beat her up outside the ring. Ripley was seen smiling as Asuka lost the match. However, the Aussie explained why she actually did this.

Asuka and Ripley had some tension when tags were being made and during one instance, it was the Nightmare trying to get the champ in.

Asuka, who is going into WM as the champion, thought twice before tagging herself in, and this was what brought out the anger in Ripley.

Rhea Ripley to become the new champion at WrestleMania 37?

The Nightmare might have gotten a sudden push into the title scene but she is one of the most talented female stars in WWE.

Ripley has won titles on NXT and NXT UK and could create history at WWE WrestleMania 37. Winning against Asuka would make The Nightmare the only woman to have won titles in all the three brands.

Asuka, for her part, is one of the most experienced talents in WWE. She has taken on all comers and was dominant in her NXT run too.

The Japanese star knows what it takes to be a champion, and this could be quite an interesting battle at the grandest show of them all.
