The NXT Champion then was hit accidentally during the clash and she decided to take out both stars. Ripley lost the title to Charlotte at WrestleMania, but she hasn’t received a rematch for that yet.

Shirai, for her part, fought against Charlotte for the title recently, but she was not able to get the win either.

The interference from Charlotte wasn’t well-received by Ripley though. The Australian was extremely upset over the move and shared her views on Twitter.

Ripley added that Charlotte was “lucky” to win the title, and the Australian was going to end the Queen:

“@MsCharlotteWWE You’re a bloody coward.

“#Wrestlemania36 you got lucky, but we all know that holding onto gold is your weakness. I solemnly hope that you are ready for a war, because we’ve only just begun. I will end you.”

It will be interesting to see when Ripley and Charlotte get their rematch. The clash at WrestleMania 36 was incredible and it highlighted that Ripley is a star for the present and future.

The Australian has to have a rematch soon, and that could take place in the upcoming NXT TakeOver. Shirai, for her part, should get a future shot at the title. The Japanese star is one of the most impressive wrestlers in NXT and is a top athlete too.
