Bronson Reed was one of the latest WWE releases and Rhea Ripley was left unhappy at all this

Former WWE Raw and NXT Women’s Champion, Rhea Ripley, was one of several talents to be left shocked after the latest WWE NXT releases.

WWE has been cutting talent on a monthly basis it seems since WrestleMania, and the latest list featured mostly talents from NXT.

The biggest name to be cut has to be Bronson Reed. The Australian is a former NXT North American Champion and won the title fairly recently.

He had been working dark matches on SmackDown and was involved in a rivalry with Adam Cole too. However, Reed took the release in his stride and even commented that more was to come from the big man.

The cuts also seem to be taking a toll on the current stars on the roster. Ripley, who is one of the biggest names in WWE, could not believe her fellow Aussie was cut.

She posted a simple emoji of being heartbroken:

Ripley wasn’t the only Australian star to tweet out her reaction to Reed’s release. Peyton Royce, who was also released by WWE in a shock decision a few months back, also tweeted out in support of her fellow Aussie.

Royce, who was part of the IIconics, was released with her partner, Billie Kay, after WWE decided to split them up and then not really head anywhere for either.

Reed wasn’t the only one cut and Tegan Nox also reacted to seeing so many NXT talents being cut by the promotion.

Nox was on NXT just a few weeks back and made her move up to SmackDown. She might have been saved by a cut or two, but WWE is really making some rather questionable moves with their roster and it seems anyone can be cut after seeing Braun Strowman being released.
