Rhea Ripley isn’t afraid of facing Mercedes Martinez in a Steel Cage match

Former WWE NXT Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley has taken her rivalry with Mercedes Martinez to the next level.

Martinez, who recently joined the Robert Stone Brand, has been a thorn in the side of the Australian.

She has cost Ripley matches in the past and has mostly faced off against the Aussie in tag clashes.

However, things are to change in the upcoming episode of NXT. Ripley seems sick of Martinez clashing against her and challenged the NXT star to a steel cage match.

She called out Martinez but her rival accepted the fight for NXT Super Tuesday. This will be the second straight NXT to be held on Tuesday and Ripley had some ominous words for her rival.

She claimed that Martinez had signed a death warrant. However, Martinez also sounded confident of getting a win.

Steel cage matches aren’t that regular in normal NXT shows. However, this is going to be an interesting clash.

Ripley and Martinez are two of the toughest females on the NXT roster, and they should tear the house down next week.

Robert Stone and Aliyah might also interfere in this clash, but there is another big match for next week’s show.

Time to decide the title

Finn Balor and Adam Cole ended this week’s NXT main event tied at two falls a piece in the 4-way Iron man match.

William Regal had to calm down Finn Balor and Adam Cole (WWE)

Cole got a cover right at the last second and William Regal had to come out and clam things down. Cole and Balor will now face in a singles match to become the next NXT champion.

That should be an incredible clash too and it could turn out to be the match of the year.
