WWE Superstar Rhea Ripley welcomes Toni Storm to the Survivor Series team
Earlier today WWE official Sonya Deville announced that Toni Storm will replace WWE superstar Aliyah on the SmackDown Women’s team for the 5 on 5 Survivor Series match up.
WWE confirmed Deville’s tweet shortly after that and with this, Storm will make her pay-per-view debut since she has arrived on the main roster.
Raw Team’s member Rhea Ripley took to Twitter and posted a GIF showing Ripley saying “I hate your stupid face” to Toni Storm.
“See you soon Toni #SurvivorSeries“
Storm will be facing Ripley as she is on the SmackDown team at the Survivor Series PPV event this Sunday.
Toni Storm hasn’t been used consistently by WWE
Storm hasn’t been featured by WWE consistently since she has joined the main roster. First, WWE promoted Storm to the SmackDown brand, where she defeated Zelina Vega. But since then, she didn’t feature much until she returned in the first round of the Queen’s Crown Tournament on October 8th, where she lost to Vega.
It is still not clear why Aliyah was taken off from Team SmackDown by Deville or even WWE. However, it will be fascinating to see if Storm will make any difference in the match-up team.
Survivor Series will see the Traditional 5 on 5 Survivor Series elimination match featuring Team Raw (Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley, Liv Morgan, Carmella and Queen Zelina) vs Team SmackDown (Sasha Banks, Shayna Baszler, Shotzi, Natalya and Toni Storm). Fans will be looking towards this contest as it has some of the most exciting female stars.
