The Nightmare Rhea Ripley formed a tag team with Liv Morgan and the team was called Live 4 Brutality. They competed in a Fatal 4-way tag team match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships held by Sasha Banks and Naomi. However, Ripley and Liv failed to capture the titles.

Liv and Rhea got another opportunity to face the champions, Sasha and Naomi, on the RAW after WrestleMania. A no.1 contender slot was up for grabs but Liv and Rhea blew it. Liv took the pinfall that night and a frustrated Ripley left her all by herself as she exited the stage area.

The seeds of a heel turn were planted on that night itself. The heel turn was a matter of time now. However, things seemed alright when Rhea informed Liv backstage that Adam Pearce gave them a match against Sasha and Naomi in the next episode of RAW. The two even hugged each other to end the segment that night.

The match for the Women’s Championship was scheduled for last week’s episode of RAW but was changed later on. This week, the match took place on WWE’s red brand and after an intense battle, Sasha and Naomi retained.

Rhea took the pin this time. Liv tried consoling Rhea but the latter initiated a war of words. As Liv was about to leave the ring, Rhea pulled her and delivered a Riptide. She left the stage area after laying waste to her former tag team partner and hence turned heel during the segment.

When is Rhea Ripley joining Edge’s stable?

While it isn’t confirmed news as yet that Rhea is joining Edge’s heel faction, there are various reports of the former RAW Women’s champion aligning with the Hall of Famer and his henchman Damien Priest.

As Edge and Damien Priest are heels on RAW, to join their team, Rhea had to turn heel first. After she assaulted Morgan, Rhea certainly has turned heel and this opens the door for her to unite with Edge.

However, the 25-year-old will surely have a feud with Liv which might culminate at WrestleMania Backlash. Rhea might be joining forces with Edge and Priest only after she gets past Liv.

Rhea’s heel turn, however, is an indication that the reports of her joining Edge’s stable might be true. When she aligns herself to the stable is something we will have to wait and see.
