WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair wants to manage former WWE superstar Cesaro in AEW
Former WWE Superstar Cesaro recently departed from WWE as both the parties couldn’t reach an agreement on his contract. It has been highly speculated that Cesaro might be going to All Elite Wrestling.
WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair has shown his interest in managing Cesaro in AEW. Flair recently spoke on The Woooooo Nation Podcast about his interest in Cesaro if he decides to join AEW.
Flair also mentioned what he liked about Cesaro in WWE, especially his matches with Rollins, and praised “The Swiss Superman”. However, he also expressed his desire to make him a heel.
“I thought his high point was his series of matches with Seth [Rollins]. I liked the Bar, but his matches with Seth Rollins were really, really good. I’ve never seen Cesaro have a bad match. If you got the skill, the look, and you got the charisma, there’s a place for you on top in either company. Find something that’s different than everybody else. Simple as can be. I would get Cesaro, get him a new manager and make him a heel.” (H/t Ringside News)
Ric Flair believes that Cesaro would be a top wrestler if he managed him
While speaking on his podcast, Flair praised the skills of Cesaro, and The Nature Boy said that he believes The Swiss Superman would be a top wrestler if he managed him. However, he wants Cesaro to be a nasty one.
“Manage him? I’d love it! Then you work on him with little things that make him nasty. You’ve never seen him be nasty. You take a guy with his skill and his strength and teach how to be nasty, just little tricks of the trade. He’d be really hot. If I was managing him, I would call Tony Khan out to the ring, and I’d knock him down from behind and have Cesaro give him a giant swing and put him in a hospital for a month. Or Schiavone! I don’t mean just Tony (Khan), but I mean someone that you can really beat the shit out of, just beat the shit out of make it believable. That would be his first night there. Someone questioning his greatness, anybody!”
Cesaro’s former Tag team Partner Sheamus has recently revealed that he has been training like crazy to make his in-ring return. It would be interesting to see whether he ends up in AEW.
