WWE Superstar Ricochet fearing return of ‘The Beast Incarnate’ Brock Lesnar at Money in the Bank
WWE Raw Superstar Ricochet is hopeful that Brock Lesnar will not make his long awaited at Money in the Bank this month.
Money in the Bank is set for July 18th at the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. The ladder match is one of the most grueling in WWE’s yearly schedule.
Ricochet is one of the participants in the MITB ladder match and is going into the match for a second time. In an interview on RAW talk, he says: (h/t Wrestling Inc)
“This is only my second Money in the Bank match. The last time around, Brock showed up out of nowhere and cost Ali the match. I hope he doesn’t show up again, because that would be bad news for all of us.”
Ricochet will be facing Morrison, Riddle, Drew McIntyre, Big E, Kevin Owens and two more SmackDown Superstars in this year’s Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match.
In 2019, Brock Lesnar stunned the WWE Universe by reemerging to win the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match. He went on to cash it in on Seth Rollins and became the WWE Universal Champion.
Lesnar has not been seen for a long duration in WWE, as reports emerge that his return is likely by the end of 2021.
Lesnar has been absent since WrestleMania 36 after losing the WWE Championship to Drew McIntyre. Since then, he has been on a long break and could return to face Roman Reigns. Since Lesnar’s departure, Reigns has taken over in WWE alongside Paul Heyman.
Heyman now will be key to the storyline if and when Lesnar returns this year. It is looking likely that Lesnar will return towards the end of the year. He has been one of the most dominant WWE Champions in recent history.
