WWE star Ricochet looks up to Edge and wished the legend on his birthday
WWE star Edge will go down as one of the greatest talents of all-time. The Rated-R Superstar has featured in some of the best matches over the past few years and his return to WWE was one of most talked about events last year.
Edge seemed to be done with wrestling after suffering a serious neck injury. However, he shocked the world by returning at the latest Royal Rumble and then had a brilliant feud with Randy Orton before picking up a different muscle injury.
The Canadian should be back in action after a while but WWE decided to celebrate his birthday. Edge turns 47 but still looks to be in fantastic shape. Many WWE stars wished Edge on his birthday and that included Ricochet.
The high flyer has been great in WWE over the past few months after a poor time coming into the main brands.
Ricochet had some kind words for Edge and even called him his mentor:
Edge is certainly someone who has given it his all in the ring, and his hardcore matches from the past are made him a legend.
While Edge recovers from a muscle injury it is to be seen what is next for Ricochet. The high flyer seems to have dealt with the threat of the Hurt Business after his win over Cedric Alexander.
He seems ready for a singles run and it will be interesting to see who he can face. Ricochet was one of the most talented stars during his time in the indies and he transitioned well when he moved to NXT.
The squash against Brock Lesnar was a low in his career but Ricochet has bounced back well ever since.
