Riddick Moss was in Paul Heyman’s plans?
Riddick Moss has just returned after being absent from almost a year because of an injury. Before being ruled out of injury Moss was in Raw. As reported by Fightful Select, Paul Heyman supported the former NXT man heavily.
It is even said that when Paul Heyman was the Executive Director of Raw he had some big things lined up for Moss. However, Heyman was later sent to SmackDown and Moss was also injured so all the plans for him went to the bin.
It is a big setback for the wrestler as knowing that you had the favor of Heyman when he was in charge and the things ended up differently.
How did Riddick Moss end up in SmackDown?
As mentioned earlier Moss was a part of the Raw roster before being injured. Now that he made his return this past week he appeared on SmackDown just days before the WWE Draft. Fightful Select stated:
“Moss got a look during a dark match in Knoxville last week. And had already been assigned to the Smackdown brand by then, despite being drafted to Raw last year. When Fightful inquired why within WWE, it was told to us that because he never appeared after the draft last year. And there’s another next week, there was no harm in getting the ball rolling on Moss with Corbin.”
Upon his return Moss joined hands with Happy Corbin. They both then attacked Kevin Owens. WWE has linked up Corbin and Moss together and it will surely be an interesting storyline going forwards. Considering they don’t get split up at the upcoming WWE Draft.
