Corey Graves had one special guest on his After the Bell podcast with Road Dogg coming on.

Dogg would be known for his incredible run alongside Billy Gunn for DX, but he is now doing a lot of work behind the scenes for the company.

While Dogg, Brian James, was speaking about the upcoming NXT TakeOver: In Your House, he also highlighted some of the special talents on the brand.

Dogg believed that Matt Riddle had a great future ahead of him but picked out another star too. Adam Cole is the longest-reigning NXT Champion and leader of the Undisputed Era.

James claimed that Cole is one of the best in the business at everything. He even suggested why Cole wasn’t Universal Champion yet:

“Adam Cole is the most professional, most talented. He gets every aspect of it, he can cut a promo. He is one of the guys where you go, ‘I need you to do a minute’ and that’s all you say to him.

Dogg also claimed that Cole’s delivery is perfect and you don’t need to coach him at all. However, he explained why Cole’s size has hurt him a bit:

“He is also a great worker, he has a great psychology, if he was Karrion Kross’ size, he would be Universal Champion right now, if he wasn’t I would be wondering why.”

Cole ready to move up?

Cole has been excellent with the Undisputed Era on NXT for a long time. He is in a rivalry with Velveteen Dream and his NXT title is on the line at In Your House.

It wouldn’t be a surprise if Cole does move to one of the bigger brands soon. There have been rumours of his entire faction moving up, and it would be great if the quartet are kept together.

The Undisputed Era is one of the best factions to have come up in WWE in a while, and Cole has been in the heart of it all.

He is great on the microphone, puts on fantastic matches, and the fans love him too. WWE have a star on their hands, and hopefully, they do not mess up this NXT champion.
