Robert Stone highlights foot in cast after being run over by a tank last week
The past couple of weeks haven’t been the most pleasant ones for Robert Stone.
Stone was beaten by Rhea Ripley in a 2-on-1 handicap match alongside his client Aliyah on Day one of the Great American Bash. That was followed by more humiliation last week when he tried to recruit Shotzi Blackheart to the ‘Robert Stone Brand’.
Shotzi rejected the offer, before running over Stone’s leg with her mini-tank, leaving him screaming “I’m dying” in agony.
Following the last week’s episode of WWE NXT, it was reported that Stone had ruptured his leg ligaments after being run over by the mini-tank and will be fitted with a walking boot. And the man himself shared an image of the same on his social media on following the latest edition of NXT.
The post was made after Stone had exacted revenge on Blackheart earlier on NXT. The Ballsy Badass was taking on newcomer Indi Hartwell in a one-on-one bout when Stone came out in his walking boot, to cause a distraction.
While the referee was trying to send him away, Aliyah pushed Blackheart from the top rope, allowing Hartwell to pick up a win.
It will be interesting to see how Blackheart retaliates after Stone and Aliyah cost her the match. On the other hand, having helped Hartwell to her first ever win on NXT, Stone could very well try to recruit her next.
