Roderick Strong has strong words for Dexter Lumis after NXT interruption

Dexter Lumis decided to have some fun during the NXT title match on this week’s show

Velveteen Dream vs Adam Cole for the NXT title had some interruptions with Dexter Lumis playing a huge role.

The mysterious character had helped Dream a couple of weeks ago in a tag match, and he tried to make a save in this one too.

Bobby Fish and Roderick Strong came down to interfere in the title match. However, they were met by Lumis who slid out from under the ring.

Lumis clashed with the pair and Strong was not pleased with what he saw. The Undisputed Era member shared his thoughts on Twitter and suggested Lumis mind his own business.

Cole keeps the crown

While Lumis actually came out to level the field for Dream, it didn’t work out all too well. Strong ended up hitting the referee after a move from Lumis which stopped the official from making a proper count.

Dream missed out on the chance to lift the title and that was enough for Cole to mount a comeback. The longest reigning NXT Champion hit the Last Shot to retain his crown, and it will be interesting to see what happens next.

Lumis has interfered in the business of the UE for a while but his antics did affect the result of this match. Dream could have become the champion if Lumis didn’t come. However, if the mysterious character did not come, Dream would have been a sitting duck for Strong and Fish.

Either way, the rivalry between Dream and Cole shouldn’t end with this fight. Dream should get another shot at the title but he might have to go through Lumis first.

We might also see a tag team match with Lumis and Dream teaming up again, and that would really be something after this match.
