WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns went after Seth Rollins on Twitter
This week, Roman Reigns was in action on WWE SmackDown, thrashing his Royal Rumble opponent Seth Rollins after he and Owens got the win against The Usos.
Reigns took to Twitter and went after Rollins taking a dig at him, stating that “He thinks he’s affecting my Universe, but there is only one”. The Tribal Chief indirectly says that SmackDown doesn’t need him.
“Little brother still shows up to my shows thinking he’s affecting my Universe. There is only one. And it is me.1 v 1. Anyone. Anytime. #BestToEverDoIt#GOAT#Smackdown#RoyalRumble.”
Rollins was up for the reply as he straightaway didn’t hold back and mentioned that Fox wanted to inject some life into the show, which The Bull Dog was draining and why he was there. And also, in a way, suggested that his and Reigns’ match should have been in WrestleMania.
“*ahem* ASKED to #SmackDown by Fox execs to inject some life into a show you’ve drained of it for the last 500whatever ass days. And now it’s just you and me, brother. While this should be Mania, making history at Rumble suits me just fine.”
Following Roman Reigns’ attack on Seth Rollins at the show’s end. The two rivals were on the opposite sides of a dark six-man tag team match.
The main event of the SmackDown saw Rollins’ team with Kevin Owens to defeat The Usos by disqualification as The Tribal Chief hit a Superman Punch on his former Shield partner.
Big E teamed up with Rollins and Owens against The Bloodline for a six-man tag team match as the show went off the air. The game ended with Reigns lying in the ground with a Curb Stomp as Big E, Seth Rollins, and KO defeated The Bloodline. One of The Usos took the fall.
This makes things interesting between Rollins and Reigns, with Royal Rumble just around the corner.
