Roman Reigns brings up Morse code in controversial Daniel Bryan Fastlane clash

Roman Reigns is adamant that he didn’t tap to Daniel Bryan and brought up some Morse code signals

Fastlane was riddled with controversy, especially in the Daniel Bryan vs Roman Reigns title clash.

Edge was the special guest enforcer but he lost his cool and attacked the challengers. However, The Rated-R Superstar did not see Reigns tap out to Bryan which would have crowned a new champion.

Edge laid out Reigns and Bryan on SmackDown

Nevertheless, Bryan will still get his chance at WrestleMania 37 in a triple threat match. Edge will also be keen on winning the title but Reigns comes into the clash as the dominant champion.

The Head of the Table kept the gold after Edge’s attack, and opened up on the tapping out. Reigns was speaking to Ariel Helwani as the pair spoke about MMA and other topics.

When the tapping out was brought up, Reigns claimed that he was sending a Morse code to Paul Heyman (h/t Give Me Sport):

“I was out there hitting Morse Code to Paul [Heyman]. He had my mouth covered. We’re so in tune. I was Morse Coding him, telling him to fire up the jet.

“I was like ‘Tell Charlie to turn the bus on. Slide in. We’re going to the FBO’. That wasn’t a tap. You’re from the MMA. You can hear a tap. That wasn’t a tap.”

This was a perfect response from a heel as he denied tapping out. However, things won’t be all that easy for Reigns at Mania.

Will WWE crown a new champion at WrestleMania 37?

Reigns has been incredible since turning heel but it will be a different outing for him at Mania.

Edge has become a heel as well and we could see the former champion try all tricks to get the gold back.

Bryan, for his part, comes as a face into the clash. However, he too is a former champion and has the bit between his teeth.

A Reigns vs Edge clash at Mania was already incredible. Adding Bryan to the mix guarantees some carnage and we could be in for quite a show at the grandest show of them all.
