Roman Reigns sends warning to Daniel Bryan ahead of their high stakes SmackDown encounter
This week’s WWE SmackDown episode could be the last one for Daniel Bryan as he faces Roman Reigns in a match with dire consequences if he loses.
The 39-year-old has retired from the sport before and fans have reason to fear if this could be the end of the road for him.
If Bryan loses against Reigns, he will be banished from the Blue brand but if he wins, he will win the WWE Universal title. However, the ban will only pertain to SmackDown.
This means that Bryan can still feature on RAW as well as the NXT brand if he manages to lose the Career vs. Title match against ‘The Tribal Chief’.
His contract expires later this year after extending his contract by 3 years in 2018 and he has hinted that he wants to hang up his gloves sooner rather than later.
Roman Reigns looks to maul Daniel Bryan on SmackDown
And Reigns seems to be enjoying that he has been handed the opportunity to end Bryan’s SmackDown career.
‘The Big Dog’ posted a photo of his calloused hands after what seems to be a long gym session, and captioned it:
“Trained, abused and calloused. These are the hands that were built to end Daniel Bryan’s career. #WitnessHisEnd#SmackDown“
Bryan earlier lost the chance to win the title against Reigns in a triple threat match at WrestleMania 37 when he was comprehensively pinned alongside Edge by Reigns.
But he did not describe the feeling of being in such a high-stakes title match as completely pleasant, and it seems that Bryan is contemplating bidding goodbye to pro wrestling.
