The Universal Champion Roman Reigns will take on the WWE Champion Brock Lesnar in a Winner Take ALL Title versus Title Championship Unification match. This match is being billed by WWE as the biggest WrestleMania match of all time
Roman Reigns in a video shared by WWE discussed how he is getting ready to face the Beast Incarnate. Both Reigns and Lesnar have two of the most well-built bodies in WWE. The Tribal Chief gave us an insight into how he trains.
Reigns also mentioned that the gym is the only place that doesn’t acknowledge him. He also claimed that as the match goes longer, his intensity and stamina don’t drop and he credits his gym workout for the same.
In a video that goes on for over three minutes, the 36-year-old takes us on his journey to being physically fit and strong. Reigns can be seen performing several compound movements like the Deadlift, Power Clean, and more in a gym in Florida.
Reigns claimed that he had taken notes from his previous matches against Lesnar and done his homework before heading into WrestleMania 38.
“Brock Lesnar is only the supporting guy to me” – Roman Reigns
“I learned every false step I took in that ring with Brock, I re-analyzed every little detail you could possibly think of and the ones you didn’t think of because you’re not as smart or experienced as me,” Reigns said. “And then I continue to put the work in. There’s going be a little sliver of credit that goes to Brock Lesnar when the record books are all written. In his hillbilly, farmboy mindset, he’s sitting there thinking, ‘Oh, I’m about to make history, we’re about to rewrite the record books.’ He’s going to be in the record books, but he’s just a supporting player to the number one guy, the guy who is at the top of the call sheet, Roman Reigns.
“I’ve manifested the outcome that I see fit for the ‘Tribal Chief,’ the outcome that I see fit for the ‘Head of the Table,’ for my bloodline, that one that’s going to support my family for generations to come. And at WrestleMania, that God Mode that nobody else can reach, it’s going to come easy,” he added, before noting that this will be his sixth WrestleMania main event and it will solidify him as the greatest WWE Champion of all time.”
Roman Reigns completes 567 days as the Universal Champion
Roman Reigns’ title reign just continues to go from strength to strength. The Head of The Table will appear in his sixth main event match at WrestleMania when he faces Brock Lesnar.
Roman’s remarkable title reign started when he defeated defending champion The Fiend and Braun Strowman at Payback on August 30, 2020, in a triple threat match.
Reigns defeated the likes of Jey Uso, Kevin Owens, Cesaro, and many more during his title reign. The former professional gridiron football player defeated Edge and Daniel Bryan in a triple threat match at WrestleMania last year.
Reigns’ last title defense at a major pay-per-view came against Goldberg at the Elimination Chamber last month. He won the match against Goldberg via technical submission.
