Roman Reigns to star in new documentary of WrestleMania 37 airing on Peacock

WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns is going to be part of a documentary by Peacock depicting his win at the Showcase of the Immortals this year.

The news was confirmed by Heyman who took to Twitter to say:

“Shooting a @WWE@WWENetwork documentary for @peacockTV on #WrestleMania 37, which turned out to be the Showcase for ONE Immortal … the #TribalChief who scored the most declaratively dominant pinfall in the history of #WrestleMania main events …. @WWERomanReigns!”

Heyman has been instrumental in Reigns’ rise since his move to Friday Night SmackDown. He has been part of numerous title defenses since reclaiming the title in August 2020. Since then, the biggest hiccup faced by Reigns was the Triple Threat Match at WrestleMania 37. Reigns was battling Edge and Daniel Bryan and was taken to the limit on the night.

The match was exhausting for all three wrestlers, but it was The Tribal Chief who ultimately came out on top.

Peacock has now decided to produce a documentary of the match, with Reigns reigning victorious in the match.

What transpired during WrestleMania 37?

After Daniel Bryan was added to the title match, fans were quick to predict a possible title change during the event. WrestleMania 37 took place across two nights, on April 10 and 11, from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.

There were moments when the Rated-R Superstar Edge looked in control and nearing his 12th World title. Bryan, who has also been successful on the big stage gave it his all delivering blow-for-blows in the fight.

Edge and Reigns lock horns once again for the Universal title

Edge was coming off a 2021 Royal Rumble win and was high on confidence, but it was the Universal Champion who stood tall retaining the gold at WrestleMania 37.

Reigns and Edge are set to face each other again in the main event of the WWE Money In the Bank on July 18.
