Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman have good words to say about Seth Rollins
WWE superstar Seth Rollins took a paternity leave after Survivor Series last year. Before that, he was on an amazing run.
And after a 2-month hiatus, ‘The Architect’ returned to WWE at Royal Rumble last month where he entered at #29. He made it to the final three but was eventually eliminated by Edge.
And since his return, he has impressed two of the most powerful people on SmackDown right now; Paul Heyman and Roman Reigns.
On this week’s episode of Talking Smack (h/t Wrestling Inc.), Heyman commented on Rollins’ newfound rivalry with Cesaro.
Heyman mentioned how both he and Reigns were impressed by his progress. Reigns and Rollins were, of course, part of The Shield which terrorized the WWE in early 2010s.
“I must admit to you that my ‘Tribal Chief’ Roman Reigns has seen the media that you’ve done recently. It’s quite impressive.
Roman Reigns is quite flattered by the words that you have bestowed upon him, which makes me as ‘Special Counsel’ constraint; it’s not because I think Cesaro is more of a man than you are, but he is on such a tear lately. He has finally stepped into a zone that he has never been able to find before. That zone makes him — with his superhero strength — one of the most dangerous competitors in WWE.”

However, he mentioned that Cesaro is a dangerous opponent and that the SmackDown superstar should be careful in the future.
“Now, sir, you are a visionary. A visionary that I, myself, am inspired by each and every week…You have a vision for SmackDown and its future that cannot be compared to. My concern is that Cesaro can disrupt that vision. I’m concerned for you.”
Rollins seemed confident of himself and assured Heyman that he was going to be fine and that there was nothing to worry about. In fact, it was the Swiss superstar who should be watching out.
“Cesaro seems to have wanted to take the hard road. I don’t know where that is going to lead the two of us, but I can tell you that he’s going to learn one way or another. I didn’t want it to be this way, I tried to talk to him; he’s made things difficult on his own. You have every right to be concerned. But I assure you, everything is going to be ok. We’re going to be just fine. I promise you.”
It remains to be seen where their rivalry goes to, but it is one that suits both well; especially Cesaro, who was in need of a push like this.
