Roman Reigns will take on Finn Balor at Extreme Rules 2021
It was recently revealed by the WWE that Roman Reigns will once again defend his WWE Universal Championship against Finn Balor at WWE Extreme Rules.
The match was revealed on September 9th as the part of the event. The Tribal Chief reacted to the news by saying he would take Balor to the Island of Relevancy and beat him up:
“Another trip to #IslandOfRelevancy, another beat down courtesy of your #TribalChief”
Reigns definitely made his feelings clear as he looks to mark another dominating performance. Balor gets his second chance in a month’s period. Balor took Reigns at last week’s SmackDown. The former champ however, was unable to get the job done.
It was originally stated that the two will clash at SummerSlam but Balor was eventually replaced by John Cena. The former champion will definitely look to get the job done this time around.
The clash will be mouth watering regardless of the situation. Reigns seems to be very confident whereas Balor is eager to get the job done.
Is Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns happening anytime soon?
Brock Lesnar made his shocking return at SummerSlam after Reigns defeated John Cena. Lesnar is supposed to make an appearance on this week’s SmackDown at Madison Square Garden. Although it has not been revealed what the future holds for him.
We can definitely hope for a exciting match between the two in the future. The Tribal Chief has been very dominant this year. He has been undefeated almost throughout the year. If Reigns manages to beat Finn Balor again we can hope for a match between Reigns and the Beast.
