Rey Mysterio and Roman Reigns were to battle it out at Hell in a Cell but this match will now take place on SmackDown

Rey Mysterio cannot wait to get his hands on Roman Reigns and took up this matter pretty promptly.

The high-flyer was set to face Reigns at WWE Hell in a Cell which takes place this weekend. However, Mysterio did not want to wait and called out the Tribal Chief.

The match was quickly confirmed by WWE and in a bit of a surprise, this Hell in a Cell match will take place on SmackDown.

A ton of history is also being created on SmackDown as this is going to be the first ever Hell in a Cell match on the brand.

Mysterio, for his part, seems ready for the battle. However, Reigns had a serious warning for the WWE veteran.

Reigns had attacked Dominik Mysterio, Rey’s son, recently and tossed him out of the ring. The Tribal Chief was more than happy to take on the senior Mysterio and promised to disgrace the family too.

“Sunday. Friday. Any day.

“Makes no difference to me.

WWE changing plans for Hell in a Cell?

Mysterio vs Reigns for Hell in a Cell was going to be great but this change in plan could mean something else is in the works for Sunday.

It would be crazy if Reigns did not defend the title at the PPV. However, WWE will have to find a new rival for the Tribal Chief.
