Roman Reigns was updating his sneaker wardrobe with Complex this week
WWE Universal champion Roman Reigns is a world-famous wrestler. But to many, he is also a fashion icon.
And he was with pop-culture outlet Complex this week to go sneaker shopping. The fashion publication posted a 10-minute interview with ‘The Big Dog’ on their YouTube channel.
This included Reigns revealing his love for sneakers and what pairs he has to the host, Joe La Puma.
In particular, they talked about the match where Reigns wore Nike Special Forces (SFB Canvas) in a 2017 match against Braun Strowman.
People took note of that and Reigns’ choice in sneakers was greatly praised then. He shared a snap from his interview on his Instagram and promised his fans on Twitter that they would get to see some of his new sneakers on SmackDown soon.
‘The Head of the Table’ wasn’t out to just give an interview. He bought 5 sneakers; some for himself and some for the family.
This included Air Jordan Reign, 2x Nike Air Max 90, Air Jordan 11 PS, and Air Jordan 1 Mid PS, taking the total bill to $1551.
Now that’s an elite list of shoes there. And Reigns will be looking fresh as he continues to reign supreme on SmackDown.
He is scheduled to take on Edge at WrestleMania 37. But before that, he must fend off the threat of Daniel Bryan.
Bryan beat Uso to earn a title shot against Reigns at Fastlane, which will take place on March 21st this year. Reigns protected his title from Kevin Owens multiple times and it seems unlikely that he will lose it before he faces Edge.
