Roman Reigns reveals Paul Heyman has been helpful for him behind the scenes
WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns recently spoke with India Today ahead of his highly anticipated clash against the returning Brock Lesnar. During his interview, The Tribal Chief was asked to describe his special counsel Paul Heyman to which he said:
“Paul Heyman has a very wide skillset, and there are a lot of great behind-the-scenes details he can keep in check. A lot of people don’t get to see the little things he does for a performer, so for me that is something that is now in place and it is something Brock is lacking. There are so many responsibilities and tasks I don’t have to worry about now, the only thing I have to focus on is the battle plan – what is going to happen when I walk out of the curtain and defend the WWE Universal Championship Paul has everything else covered.”
Reigns has made it clear that he adds in a lot of things for a performer and also keeps the details in check. The Universal champion reveals that he doesn’t have to worry about all the little things anymore. This is because Heyman is there to sort them out.
Moreover, Reigns is confident that he has an advantage as Lesnar is lacking these things at the moment. Will these things actually prove to be the difference come Crown Jewel PPV only time will tell.
Will Paul Heyman ditch Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel?
Heyman is not new to stirring up some drama in the industry and he has done something very similar recently. He has recently hinted at a big Crown Jewel suprise. The special counsel to Reigns recently took to his Instagram to post something which has also left the fans wondering his move at the Crown Jewel.
In the caption of the post Heyman wrote:
“I will be walking down the ring with the reigning WWE Universal Champion and I assure you, I will be leaving CrownJewel with the WWE Universal Champion.”
Heyman lacked the specifics in this caption which makes it seem like he could ditch Reigns to join forces with Lesnar yet again. However, the possibility of this happening is actually pretty slim but certainly not out of the realm of possibility.
Heyman has had a long history with Lesnar and it wouldn’t come as a big surprise if he decides to slide in with the Beast upon his return to the in ring action.
