Roman Reigns faces Daniel Bryan at WWE Fastlane but he served a bit of a warning to the former champion
Daniel Bryan got a shot at Roman Reigns for WWE Fastlane after a tough outing on this week’s SmackDown.
Bryan had the chance to face The Tribal Chief at the PPV. However, he had to go through Jey Uso and that was a steel cage match.
Reigns had warned Uso of not losing in the main event of SmackDown. The Big Dog was also sitting by cage side as he watched his cousin and Bryan to clash.
However, things didn’t go the way of Reigns and he was left seething as Bryan won. Bryan is a former champion and had spoken in the past of headlining WrestleMania 37 since he had fought more than Edge and Reigns.
Reigns then shared his thoughts on the Fastlane battle and taunted Bryan.
“Welcome to the Island of Relevancy.”
The Island of Relevancy is something that Reigns has brought up whenever he has fought someone in recent months.
Kevin Owens was one of the first who was called out to the Island of Relevancy and that didn’t work too good for him.
Things are a little complicated for WWE at the moment. They have already spoken about Edge taking on Reigns after the Rated-R Superstar won the 2021 Royal Rumble.
Edge has been incredible since his return and if anyone deserves a title shot he does. But, Bryan has been great in recent months too and this could be his chance of getting back to the top.
Bryan beating Reigns would be something and if he became the champion, all the WrestleMania 37 plans would go down the drain.
Reigns has to be careful when going up against Bryan. However, The Tribal Chief has been untouchable since teaming up with Paul Heyman, and it will be interesting to see how Fastlane goes.
