WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns reacts over The Rock featuring at Survivor Series
Many rumours have been going around regarding The Rock’s appearance at Survivor Series this Sunday, but it doesn’t look like that is supposed to happen as far as Roman Reigns is concerned.
The Tribal Chief appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon (h/t Ringside News), where he was asked if The Rock has any plan to make a surprise return at Survivor Series.
The WWE Universal Champion said that he had not heard these rumours, and he is not close with anybody. However, he seemed pretty defensive about The Rock’s return at Survivor Series.
“These are rumours, you say? I have not heard these rumours, and I would think I’m closer than anybody at this point. That’s not what I heard, but I also debuted at Survivor Series, so there’s a nice little tie-in there.”
Reigns also mentioned facing The Rock someday in WWE and said that he is ready to fight him, but it is up to him whether he will face him.
Most Electrifying Man in sports entertainment The Rock completed twenty-five years with WWE since making his debut in 1996 under “Rocky Maivia”.
Since then, he has won many world championships and has been the most popular WWE star giving all the fans some iconic matches to enjoy. The Great One took to Twitter and shared his thought on achieving this feat.
“Wow, 25yrs ago I wrestled my first match in @wwe in Madison Square Garden. Shaking my head right now. What a wild, unpredictable road I’ve been on. So many people to thank along the way. Especially the fans. Love U guys. Humbled by this journey. Wtf’s up with my awful haircut.”
