Will the Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar rivalry end after Crown Jewel?
Romans Reigns vs Brock Lesnar will face each other at Crown Jewel for the WWE Universal Championship and we have further details on their rivalry. As per Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the rivalry will continue even after the Crown Jewel PPV.
He reported:
“From what we understand, and what makes sense, is this is not a one-and-done program. For one, unless Dwayne Johnson is wrestling Reigns at next year’s WrestleMania. This would appear to be the biggest possible Mania match. So the idea here is to build to a return, whether that means Lesnar wins to build to a rematch or some disputed decision takes place.”
It is made clear that it makes sense from a business stand point that their story continues even after their upcoming match. Paul Heyman will also play a major role in the storyline as he has been vital for both Reigns and Lesnar.
As of now, Heyman made it clear that his loyalty lies with his Tribal Chief and he will continue to be on Reign’s side. It will be interesting to see how the story unfolds for probably the two biggest names in the WWE currently.
Brock Lesnar to appear on Supersized SmackDown
WWE has planned to put on an amazing card for the upcoming SmackDown. Next week’s Supersized SmackDown will feature some incredible match ups. On top of that Lesnar has also been confirmed for next week’s show.
Lesnar is set to make an appearance and from what it seems, a big face off with his opponent for Crown Jewel, Reigns can be expected. Fans are filled with excitement to find out what will happen next week.
