A Big Question remains to be answered. Is Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar the biggest match of all time?
WWE Champion Brock Lesnar will face Universal Champion Roman Reigns in a Winner-Take-All Championship Unification match in the main event of Night 2 of WrestleMania 38 on Sunday, April 3rd.
The company is claiming this as the biggest match of all time. So they took to their Twitter handle and made the statement.
It’s Winner Take All in a Championship Unification Match in the Biggest #WrestleMania Match of All-Time! @WWERomanReigns and @BrockLesnar will make it official TONIGHT on #SmackDown! @HeymanHustle
These two superstars are currently the most prominent plot for the main eventing at WrestleMania. Reigns have been brilliant in the past year as his championship reign continues to grow, and Lesnar is the only one who can stop this reign. This can become one of the biggest matches in the history of WrestleMania.
But in almost four decades of WrestleMania, there have been some history-making matches like Shawn Michaels vs The Undertaker from WrestleMania 25, The Rock vs Hogan, The Rock vs Steve Austin, and many more, even though this is the third match between Lesnar and Reigns at WrestleMania but its quite hard to say if its the biggest match of all-time or not. Reigns and Lesnar over the years have had several bouts and there is hardly anything new to this. Except for the stipulation, the match is stale. There is a complete lack of freshness, and claiming this as the ‘Biggest WrestleMania match of all time’ can turn out to be a mistake.
Becky Lynch and Fans give mixed opinions about Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns WrestleMania match
Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch has destroyed WWE’s idea of the Lesnar-Reigns match as the “Biggest WrestleMania Match of all Time.”
She took to Twitter and posted a picture of her and Becky Lynch as the only two women in history to win the main event of WrestleMania.
The only two women in history to win the main event of #WrestleMania. You tell me what the biggest match in WrestleMania history is. @WWE
And not only that, many fans are not impressed with WWE calling this the biggest match of all time.
Here are some of the Twitter reactions,
It will be interesting to see how this match turns out on Sunday when these two massive forces collides and who remains at the top by the end of it.
