Former WWE and UFC women’s superstar Ronda Rousey announced her pregnancy a few months ago
Ronda Rousey announced her pregnancy a few months ago. The former MMA and WWE superstar married former UFC heavyweight Travis Browne in 2017, and the couple are expecting their first baby.
The pair recently uploaded a gender reveal video on Youtube, and it was confirmed that Rousey was expecting a girl child.
In the latest Instagram post, Rousey has gone on to explain the scary side and challenges she has been facing during pregnancy.
Rousey posted a very elaborate message on Instagram. In the first part she explained how eager she was to meet the baby, before going on to explain the bodily changes she has been experiencing.
‘Rowdy’ then revealed that a part of her was scared about the birth of the baby as well.
A part of Rousey’s post read:
“Honestly the looming task of giving birth is intimating as hell. I almost died when I was born – Is baby gunna be okay? I’m not so much afraid of the pain of labor as intimidated by the recovery. Am I gunna need a c-section? Am I gunna prolapse? Are my abs never gunna come back together again? Will I tear open to my butthole and dread pooping forever?”
Ronda Rousey credits her husband for being of immense support during “these difficult times”
Rousey then went on to acknowledge her husband in the second half of the post. She explained how Browne’s words of encouragement keep her going despite her failing confidence over her physical self.
Here is what Rousey had to say about her husband:
“It’s hard not to just hide and wait it out. Thank God for Mr. Browne. Not a day goes by without him telling me I’m beautiful, sexy, loved, and appreciated. He holds my belly to give me breaks from carrying, gives me bites of everything he’s eating, then drags me hissing into the sunlight when I wanna go full Gollum. He makes me proud to put on a swimsuit and show the world what I sometimes want to hide from myself.”
It is worth noting that, Rousey has not appeared in the WWE since losing her title to Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 35 in 2019. The loss that night ended her 231 day reign as the WWE Women’s champion.
