An irate Ronda Rousey shows her support for Sha’Carri Richardson
Former WWE and UFC star Ronda Rousey wasn’t happy with the way things have gone for Sha’Carri Richardson after a mere ‘cannabis consumption.’
Taking to Twitter Rousey claimed that cannabis ‘is not a performance-enhancing drug’ and that the testing was done solely due to political reasons. She also expressed her sympathy towards Richardson.
Rousey’s tweet read:
“Cannabis isn’t a performance-enhancing drug – it’s tested for entirely political reasons and no sport governing body has the right to force athletes to conform to their political ideals – so sorry you had your dream stolen from you, @itskerrii“
Rousey isn’t the only high-profile star to support Richardson. A legion of athletes and celebrities showed their support for the young sprint sensation from Texas – Odell Beckham Jr., Dwyane Wade, Michael Johnson and Seth Rogen, to name a few.
