UFC and WWE legend Ronda Rousey is confused about her WWE contract
Former WWE Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey recently did some Facebook Live feed (h/t Wrestling Inc.) in which she spoke about the current status of her WWE contract.
Rousey said in her video that she is still pretty unsure whether she is still employed by the company or not. She revealed that she still is in contact with Stephanie McMahon but has mentioned that she didn’t have a word with Triple H since his heart surgery. (H/t POST Wrestling)
“I technically — I don’t think I am. But who knows? That’s a question for the lawyers.
“I actually keep in touch with Steph [McMahon] because she’s sweet, and we send each other baby pictures,” I hadn’t talked to Triple H since before he had his — he had like heart surgery or something. Hope he’s doing all right.”
Rousey was asked about her return to WWE sometimes, to which she said that she doesn’t know much about that but might return when she feels like it.
“I don’t know. When I feel like it,” Eventually when I feel like. I don’t know.”
Rousey’s original contract with WWE expired back on April 10, 2021. It is not yet known where she would be returning, WWE or some other company.
She has been away from the company since WrestleMania 35 main event in 2019. Rousey was expected to return on WrestleMania 37, and it was even stated by WWE President Nick Khan that she would be returning, but that didn’t happen as she was pregnant.
The Baddest on the Planet gave birth to a baby girl named “La’akea Makalapuaokalanipõ Browne”.
