Lana faces Asuka for the WWE Raw Women’s championship and Rusev compared his wife to Rocky
Lana had a bit of a crazy WWE Raw as she suffered a low and then an incredible high on the same night.
The Ravishing Russian first lost a tag team match with Natalya by her side. This loss was again on Lana as she was the one who got beaten up the most, however, more was to come.
Natalya seemed to be done with the pair and broke the team off. Lana had been trying to learn from the Best of all-time (BOAT) but the Hart Dynasty member was done with the Russian.
Lana was completely broken after this but she still had to prepare for the Battle Royal. This was to decide the next challenger for Asuka and the Russian was able to knock out Natalya to get the win.
This was possibly Lana’s greatest WWE moment since she started competing regularly and her husband, Rusev, compared her to Rocky.

Rusev, now called, Miro, also claimed that this was the story of an underdog and well, we all know how the Rocky movies ended up.
Lana ready to shine?
WWE seemed to be punishing Lana ever since Rusev left for AEW. While the Bulgarian Brute hit out at his former company, Lana was sent through tables time and again.
However, that didn’t break her resolve as she kept working hard in hopes of getting better. Lana was never signed up to be a wrestler but she has been active every week on Raw for the past two months or so.
The Ravishing Russian also reacted to not only winning a Raw main event but getting a title shot.

Defeating Asuka would be another story and that could be the greatest underdog story in WWE history. Lana would have to channel the Rocky in her to beat the Japanese star but stranger things have happened in the past.
