WWE announcer Samantha Irvin opens up about announcing at Royal Rumble 2022
Samantha Irvin, who recently announced the Royal Rumble event this year, reacted after presenting such a mega event. She took to Twitter and exclaimed.
“Ohhh, what a rush! #RoyalRumble“
Irvin also sent some gratitude towards WWE Universe after presenting at the Rumble.
Taking to Twitter, Irvin wrote:
“Thank you, WWE Universe.”
Samantha Irvin was recently called to WWE main roster
Irvin recently spent most of her time in WWE NXT. Irvin made her official debut on the SmackDown. She was interviewed by Megan Morant before her first show, and she wants to grab the most of it.
“Megan, it’s a dream come true. Literally, it is a dream come true. I’m over the moon, I can’t believe it.
Everyone’s been supportive, and they’ve made me feel like this is where I belong, and just to be myself, and to have fun, and do what I’ve always wanted to do, which is to announce here at the WWE for Friday. Night SmackDown.”
Irvin was hired by WWE in April 2021, and since then, she has worked on NXT and WWE 205 Live shows.
She replaced the former blue brand announcer Mike Rome. Now WWE 205 Live’s ring announcer Irvin has been called up to fill the position on a long-term basis. She also performed on Season 10 of America’s Got Talent.
