How did Sami Zayn react to being the last pick of the WWE draft?
The WWE drafts continued on this week’s Monday night RAW with several big names on the move yet again. However, as the rounds went on Sami Zayn looked to have missed out on being picked by either Raw or SmackDown. Zayn took to Twitter to share his frustration where he said:
“I genuinely think my name is not on their draft list. #WWEDraft”
It seemed like Zayn had lost hope and rightfully so. Five rounds of the drafts had went by and there Zayn thought his name might have been left out from the list. However, this tweet did not age well and luckily for Zayn he was picked just a bit after he tweeted.
How did Sami Zayn react to getting drafted?
Zayn was picked by SmackDown to stay in the brand as the final pick of the final round i.e. Round 6. You’d think that after finally being picked by SmackDown Zayn would be happy but this wasn’t the case. Zayn was seemingly disappointed and tweeted his reaction to being drafted last:
“LAST.”
Zayn was certainly not impressed by being the last pick of the final round on the draft. Whatever the case may be, Zayn should be happy to have been picked by SmackDown to stay and continue fighting there.
The last round of the WWE drafts also saw Gable Steveson being picked by Raw. Steveson is yet to make his WWE debut and it won’t be until next year. Further reports on his debut are still awaited.
