Sami Zayn has done a lot of charity work for many hard-hit countries
WWE superstar Sami Zayn shared a new post with positive news about helping the needy in Syria.
Zayn has often shared details of his charity work. And he was at it again for Syria this time:
He tweeted, ‘SOME GOOD NEWS FOR A CHANGE. Your #SamiForSyria donations are helping! In March, we stocked 4 existing mobile clinics with medications, helping 9,835 patients. AND a new mobile clinic should be operational within a month. THANK YOU! Donate if you can at http://SamiForSyria.com.’
As noted on late Tuesday night, WWE has stripped Sami Zayn of the Intercontinental Title and will hold a tournament to crown a new champion that begins on Friday’s SmackDown.
Following the news, Zayn took to Twitter where he gave his reaction:
“I disagree with this decision and no matter what anyone says, I am still undefeated and therefore still the Intercontinental Champion.”
Zayn defeats Bryan
Zayn defeated Bryan on Night 1 of WrestleMania 36 to retain the Intercontinental Championship. Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro indirectly factored into the outcome by attacking Drew Gulak outside of the ring, which prompted Bryan to intervene.
Returning his focus to Zayn, Bryan attempted an attack off the top rope. But the champion countered into a modified version of the Helluva Kick for the win.
The duo of Bryan and Gulak have feuded with the triumvirate of Zayn, Nakamura and Cesaro for the past few weeks, and Gulak played a significant role in Bryan earning a title shot on The Grandest Stage of Them All.
