Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair are expected to face off at SummerSlam 2021
SummerSlam 2021 is just a few days away.
The 34th edition of the event will be the first event to air live on a Saturday since 1992.
A plethora of high-voltage clashes are lined up for this event – that includes Nikki A.S.H vs Charlotte Flair vs Rhea Ripley for the WWE Raw women’s championship, Roman Reigns vs John Cena for the WWE Universal Championship, Bobby Lashley vs Goldberg for the WWE championship, among many others.
And one among those championship matches lined up, is the WWE SmackDown women’s championship match between Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks.
Belair is the defending champion.
The latest news circulating is that the match might be scrapped from SummerSlam 2021, with a cloud of ‘internal concern’ over the same, after the pair missed a couple of non-televised events this past week.

PW Insider was the first to report that several WWE sources have been fearing that the Sasha Banks vs Bianca Belair match might not be taking place after all.
Earlier this week, Banks and Belair missed Sunday”s non-televised event, as well – WWE Supershow.
However, there is no confirmation that the match would be pulled off from SummerSlam.
According to reports on social media, Banks was hanging out with Zelina Vega, while Belair who usually works on her ring attire, was doing the same, with her family.
