Sasha Banks and Naomi will defend their Women’s Tag Team Championships next week on SmackDown against the team of Natalya and Shayna Baszler.
Boss N’ Glow has had an intense rivalry brewing with Natalya and Shayna Baszler and it comes to a head, next week on WWE’s blue brand.
Sasha Banks faced Shayna Baszler in the latest episode of SmackDown in a one-on-one match. The two women went back and forth in an intense encounter.
Natalya and Naomi were in the corners of their respective partners. The match ended when Natalya assisted Baszler to put her feet up on the ropes while the latter made a cover to help the Queen of Spades steal a victory.
The heel duo attacked Banks and Naomi after the match, but the champions managed to turn the tables and took them out.
Later there was a tweet from the official Twitter handle of WWE on Fox where the clip of Natalya helping Baszler was posted. The caption:
“Baszler picks up the win thanks to @NatbyNature. @QoSBaszler | #SmackDown“
Natalya was not too pleased with this as she tweeted that Baszler did not need her help. The Queen of Harts added that Baszler won “fair and square.”
“I am the Root Of Greatness. Shayna didn’t need my help. We won fair and square. It feels good to do things the right way. #SmackDown“
Sasha Banks responded to the surprising tweet from Natalya saying that acting like a mess would not give her the shine of the champions.
“Acting a mess won’t mess won’t get you our shine. Stay mad,” responded an irate Sasha Banks. The two impressive tag teams are certainly at loggerheads with each other and the title match next week promises to be an intriguing affair.
Sasha Banks and Naomi won the tag titles at WrestleMania 38 in a Fatal 4-way match involving the former champions Carmella-Queen Zelina, Liv Morgan-Rhea Ripley, and Natalya-Shayna Baszler.
Since then, Banks and Naomi have successfully defended their titles against Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley and now have to pull out all the stops against two experienced wrestlers in Natalya and Baszler.
