Sasha Banks will face off against Bayley for the SmackDown Women’s title at Hell in a Cell 2020
The Boss, Sasha Banks, used a lot of force to finally get Bayley to sign the contract for WWE Hell in a Cell 2020.
The pair are to meet for the SmackDown Women’s Title now but it wasn’t a surety last week. Banks signed the contract for the match but Bayley squirmed away.
However, the champion was attacked by Banks this week and forced to sign the contract. Bayley was the one who first injured Banks a while back as their friendship ended in spectacular fashion.
The pair have attacked each other a lot in recent weeks and a match at Hell in a Cell makes sense. The daunting structure is something to worry about but Banks seemed confident ahead of her match.
Banks was interviewed after this week’s SmackDown and asked how things would go at the PPV. The Boss claimed she had a ton of experience in Hell in a Cell matches and had featured in all three that had women wrestlers:
“I will be walking into my third ever Hell in a Cell. Let’s get this thing straight out there.
“This is the third women’s Hell in a Cell match ever, I have been in all three. So that means, I am the Boss of the Cell.
“This Sunday, I will be taking Bayley’s title and I am going to finish what she started.”
The interviewer then asked if The Boss had an advantage, and that got Banks riled up. She questioned if the interviewer was hearing things right and reiterated she was going to be the new champion:
“Did you not hear what I said before? Of course, I have an advantage, I am the Boss in the Cell.
“I step into that cell on Sunday. All eyes will be on me, that championship will be on me and I will be walking out your new WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion.”
Bayley vs Banks should be a great match at Hell in a Cell, and this rivalry has grown a lot. The pair are two of the best performers in WWE too and it will be interesting to see who comes out on top in this battle.
