Bianca Belair used her hair great effect and whipped Sasha Banks on her ribs
The main event of WrestleMania 37 night one did not disappoint as Bianca Belair chased WWE gold.
The EST of WWE was up against the SmackDown Women’s Champion, Sasha Banks, who is one of the greatest female talents of all-time.
Belair started the match hot but experience was on Banks side. The Boss took control of the match from Belair midway through the match.
However, The EST of WWE fought back with a lot of her power moves. Belair also had another weapon up her sleeves, her long hair. The former NXT star has used her hair to whip opponents in the past and did the same to Banks too.
The Boss tried to stop this but Belair hit one of the loudest sounding whips in TV history. Banks was screaming in pain after this and the mark left behind was quite deep too.
Banks is a tough cookie but this was something else. The mark will probably stay for a while and her ribs might be sore for a few weeks.
Banks is a tough cookie and continued to battle as both women were part of WWE history. This was the first time a WrestleMania main event was held between two black women and there was no stopping Belair.
Bianca Belair climbs the top of the mountain
Belair and Banks both put on a show but it was the EST of WWE who got the win in the end. Her KOD was too much for Banks and Belair won the SmackDown Women’s title on her first attempt at the grandest stage of them all.
This was an emotional moment for Belair as she became emotional. Her husband, Montez Ford, was also there to celebrate and he lifted his wife on his shoulders.
Belair has been excellent since she won the Royal Rumble a few months back. However, credit should be handed to Banks for putting on quite a show too.
It will be interesting to see who Belair’s next opponent is but she can enjoy this moment for a few days, at least.
